But I have to say, Chelsea and the Red Sox were just as easy to ignore prior to their improvement. So maybe Red Sox fans were annoying then, but I could pretend they didn't exist. Now, such a feat is impossible. There was one under my bed this morning when I woke up; it's like shooing away feral animals. They are absolutely worse than Yankee fans, I couldn't agree more. First, there's more of them. Second, as annoying as the London accent is, it doesn't hold a candle to the language murdering tones of the Boston whine. Third, Chelsea had to get good to become annoying. Red Sox fans were obnoxious in the 1990s when they weren't winning anything, and they're multiplied like rabbits now that they win. They're worse than Yankees fans. This said, I kinda like the team. Would rather see the Rockies win, but only slightly so, at this point.
